Vucevic with next top performance for the Bucks?

The champions from Milwaukee and the Bulls cross blades for the second time in the ongoing 2022 NBA Playoffs at Fiserv Forum. The hosts picked up a home win in the first meeting and once again proved to be a fearful opponent for the visitors.

Milwaukee Bucks – Statistics & current form

The Bucks were not able to convince in the first game as usual in the offensive, but the defensive game turned out to be all the more efficient. The Bulls scored just 86 points at the final siren at the Fiserv Forum.

Head coach Mike Budenholzer once again had a difference maker in Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Greek delivered a double-double with 27 points and 16 rebounds. The power forward grabbed 13 of the boards under his own board, making him as valuable defensively as he was going forward.

Chicago Bulls – Statistics & current form

The Bulls did not show a good hand in finishing in the first duel: Only 32.3 percent of their attempts from the field went through the net. The yield from downtown was really bitter, as only seven successful threes were made out of a total of 37!

In the end, the six-time champions had to acknowledge the strong defensive performance of the Bucks without envy.

However, 56-year-old head coach Billy Donovan, who has been coaching in Chicago for the second time since 2020 after Oklahoma, could at least be satisfied with the performance of Nikola Vucevic.

The centre from Montenegro, who was born in Switzerland, recorded 17 rebounds and 24 points. The 31-year-old was Chicago’s best player in both categories, although at least his field goal percentage of 33.3 per cent could be improved.

Milwaukee Bucks – Chicago Bulls Tip

For the duel between the Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls in Game 2, the tip aims for more than 28.5 points and rebounds by Nikola Vucevic on the part of the visitors.

In the first match-up, the centre delivered the strongest performance for the Bulls and the home side’s defence from the “Brew City” appears to have a mismatch with the “Big Man”, who has now rediscovered his form in time for the postseason after a poor end to the regular season.

Furthermore, Vucevic feels particularly comfortable in the visiting games with Milwaukee. Thus, the 31-year-old already exceeded the selected limit in terms of boards and points in the two guest games during the regular season.
