Crisis summit in San Francisco!
Three NBA games go down next night. Two exciting games take place in the East as the Hawks take on the Nets and the Bulls take on Eastern Conference leaders Miami.
Philadelphia 76ers vs. Charlotte Hornets – April 02, 6:30pm
The Sixers and Hornets have faced each other three times already this season and the visitors were defeated in the first two of those duels.
In all three encounters, Joel Embiid was again the top scorer! The centre of the home side is having a great season anyway and is in a promising position in the race for the MVP title.
With James Harden, the team has also had a Most Valuable Player for several weeks. “The Beard” won the award in 2018 and the guard continues to show his exceptional class on a regular basis.
The guests, for their part, still have to do without the powerful small forward Gordon Hayward due to an ankle injury. On the other hand, they are in good form: The guests have won three of the last four games and thus booked their ticket for the play-in tournament.
For the clash between the Philadelphia 76ers and Charlotte Hornets, bets on more than 33.5 points by Joel Embiid are profitable.
New York Knicks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers – April 02, 7:00pm
The Knicks await the Cavaliers at Madison Square Garden. The guests from Ohio have always prevailed in the two duels so far this season and now hope for the third strike.
The prospects are also good, because the season has been over for the home side since the last matchday. The jump to the tenth place, which would be connected with a participation in the Play-in Tournament in the East, is mathematically no longer possible.
The visitors, for their part, have already booked this tournament and are still flirting with direct participation in the postseason. For this to happen, however, they would have to climb a little in the standings and, of course, win.
For the duel between the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers, however, the odds can be placed at less than 217.5 points value.
In the match-up, two comparatively defensively strong teams face each other and already six of the past seven duels ended with less than 218 points at the respective final siren.
Atlanta Hawks vs. Brooklyn Nets – 03 April, 01:30am
The Hawks have been waiting for their next win against the Nets for three tries. In all three matchups, Kevin Durant also scored the most points of any player on the court. However, KD is currently a little less potent than normal on the road.
In the last game against the Bucks, he scored a solid 26 points, but this was the third time in the past four games that he fell short of his seasonal mark of 29.3 points per game.
The “Slim Reaper” also committed half a dozen turnovers against the champions. In the Atlanta Hawks’ game against the Brooklyn Nets, predictions of less than 30.5 points by the visitors’ currently somewhat less efficient forward are therefore worth considering.
Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat – 03 April, 02:00
The Bulls have been defeated in the three season duels against the league leaders in the East. However, Zach LaVine has scored the most points for the hosts in each of the last two meetings.
Recently, however, his performances in the games against the Clippers and Wizards fell off. The shooting guard only averaged 17.5 points in the last two games.
However, the Bulls not only have LaVine as a normally efficient scorer at their disposal, but also another player of this quality in DeMar DeRozan.
The 32-year-old has recently stepped into the breach, even after a temporary lull, and scored at least 32 points in the past three games.
In the last win against the Clippers, the guard even scored 50 points. With this he set a new personal season-high and 50 points he had only managed once before in his long career in 2018 against the Bucks.
Golden State Warriors vs. Utah Jazz – April 03, 02:30am
The Warriors and Utah meet for the top game in the West. The hosts are third and the visitors occupy fifth place in the Western Conference. The Salt Lake City basketball team won the last meeting 111-85.
This allowed them to end a series of four defeats against the Kerr team. Currently, however, both teams are in a crisis: they have only won one of the last five games.
For the game between the Golden State Warriors and Utah Jazz on 3 April from 02:30, bets on less than 26.5 points by Donovan Mitchell on the visitors’ side are worth a recommendation.
“Spida” has lacked consistency of late and the guard delivered an average of just 17 points in his two outings against the six-time champions this season anyway.
