Will the top of the table in the East prevail at the champions?
There are eight games in the NBA next night. The focus is especially on the clash of the champion from Milwaukee with the current leader in the East from Miami. For all games in the NBA on 03.03.2022 the following current tips and betting odds can be read.
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Charlotte Hornets – 03 March, 01:00 hrs
With the match between the Cavs and Hornets a crisis duel is rising. The home side have won only one of their last four games and the visitors one of their last six. The reasons for the sporting slump are in each case of a personnel nature.
The Ohio franchise is missing Darius Garland and Caris LeVert, among others. In Charlotte, on the other hand, for example, forward Gordon Hayward is missing.
The hosts will rely on the home bonus: Although they lost their most recent home game against Minnesota, the defeat was only a narrow one despite the tight personnel situation.
On top of that, the home win ratio is still almost two-thirds – only the Bulls and Miami top this value in the Eastern Conference. For the duel between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Charlotte Hornets, betting tips on a home win seem like a good idea.
Orlando Magic vs. Indiana Pacers – 03 March, 01:00 am
The hosts from the Sunshine State around the two German NBA players Moritz and Franz Wagner only rank last in the East. Nevertheless, hope has spread in the last game. With Markelle Fultz, a very important guard returned to the court after a very long injury break.
The 23-year-old is still under a minutes restriction, but even in just 16 minutes of play he scored in double figures and also delivered six assists and two rebounds. Thanks to his performance, the game against Indiana and thus against the upcoming opponent was clearly won.
In the next game between the Orlando Magic and the Indiana Pacers, the odds on another home victory are worth a look.
Philadelphia 76ers vs. New York Knicks – 03 March, 01:30am
The Sixers recently got a second superstar on board in James Harden. “The Beard” came out of Brooklyn and made an immediate impact in Philly alongside Joel Embiid. The guard scored a triple-double in the last game. The opponents were the Knicks, which is why there will now be an immediate repeat of the pairing.
In the next clash between the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks, the predictions are for a home victory with at least an eleven-point difference. Already the last direct comparison on the last matchday was a clear affair with 125:109 in favour of the Sixers and a similar course of play can be expected.
Houston Rockets vs. Utah Jazz – 03 March, 02:00 hrs
The Texans were clearly defeated by Utah 101-135 just over a fortnight ago and Donovan Mitchell in particular came up trumps on the side of the franchise from Salt Lake City with 30 points. Such a course of the game now seems to be in the offing again. The home side are bottom of the table in the West and the season is already over for them.
Instead, the visitors, in fourth place in the Western Conference, are fighting for the best possible starting position for the upcoming postseason. The aim is to at least defend their current position. For the game between the Houston Rockets and Utah Jazz, betting tips on an away win with at least a 13-point difference are worth considering.
This is also supported by the fact that the hosts are playing a back-to-back and will be more tired than their opponents.
Milwaukee Bucks vs. Miami Heat – 03 March, 02:00
The champions get a high table visit with Miami travelling to the East as the league leaders, having won all of their past four games.
Even the absence of Kyle Lowry has not unsettled head coach Erik Spoelstra’s team recently, as they still managed to record a commanding home win against the second-placed team in the East from Chicago. The quality feature of the visitors’ high resilience can already be observed all season.
Although Miami was repeatedly affected by retirements, the rest of the squad was always able to step into the breach mostly successfully and the first place in the East is clear evidence of this.
In addition, Tyler Herro is currently in great form: The 22-year-old himself only recently returned from an injury break and has since delivered an average of 24 points in three appearances.
For the top game in the Fiserv Forum between the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat, predictions of an away win or a narrow defeat for the visitors with a maximum difference of four points seem promising.
New Orleans Pelicans vs. Sacramento Kings – 03 March, 02:00
The Pels beat the Western Conference leaders from Phoenix on the penultimate day of play. Although the Suns were shorthanded, the win showed that NOLA has plenty of quality.
Zion Williamson, the best player in the squad, is still out with injury, but even without him the verdict can be reached. Thanks to the win against the basketballers from the Valley and a subsequent triumph against the Lakers, the tenth place in the West was conquered.
A significant rank, as it carries with it the last ticket to the Play-in Tournament after the regular season.
For the game between the New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings on 03.03.2022, the odds on less than 21.5 points by Brandon Ingram on the visitors’ side are interesting. Since the Pels signed CJ McCollum, the former Lakers player’s scoring output has noticeably plummeted.
In fact, Ingram has surpassed the selected limit in points in only two of the seven games since the arrival of McCollum, who in turn has averaged more than 28 points with his new employer.
Denver Nuggets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder – Mar 03, 03:00
The franchise from the Mile High City is very stable at the moment: Since six rounds of games they have only won and with OKC they travel to a weak opponent anyway. The visitors only occupy second-last place in the West and lose more than two-thirds of their games away from home.
However, they have won both of their last two visits to New York and Indiana, and the victories have always come in overtime. The morale in the team can therefore still be described as good.
In addition, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, clearly the best player since the All-Star Break, is available again. The Canadian immediately showed his class again: The 23-year-old always scored at least 32 points in the three games since his return!
Phoenix Suns vs. Portland Trail Blazers – 03 March, 04:00
The Suns are currently without Chris Paul. A loss that no team in the NBA could adequately replace.
The “Point God” once again leads the ranking for most assists per game this season and in the history of the NBA only John Stockton and Jason Kidd have delivered more successful assists in the course of their careers.
The effects are already noticeable: two of the three games without “CP3” were lost. However, Portland is an even more depleted opponent who will have to make do without its best scorer Damian Lillard.
For the clash between the Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers on 3 March, predictions of more than 22.5 points by Anfernee Simons on the side of the visitors are of interest.
The shooting guard is currently being called upon to play forward due to Portland’s personnel situation, and the 22-year-old is living up to this increased responsibility.
He has topped the selected limit in points in five of the last six games and has even scored at least 30 points three times in this review!
