Will the Kings force a ‘Game Seven’?
Game 6 between the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings is set for next night in the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
Golden State Warriors – statistics & current form
The Warriors recently recorded their first away win in this series, 123-116. The success is worth its weight in gold from the champion’s point of view, as he has been very stable at home this season not only in the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
During the regular season, Golden State had the third best home record in the West. Moreover, the home side can rely on their experience. Unlike their opponents, they know how to handle the extremely high pressure of the postseason.
Sacramento Kings – statistics & current form
In Sacramento, of course, they also know that the recent defeat is a real setback. Now it must be seen whether the inexperienced team can withstand the pressure at the Chase Center. It is also not very pleasing that De’Aaron Fox was on the court in the last game, but did not reach his maximum performance.
The top guard has had a finger injury since the fourth game of the series and obviously it is limiting him. Only 24 points were recorded by Fox and he also showed nerves already. For example, the 25-year-old did not register a single point on six attempts from the field in the fourth quarter for head coach Monty Williams’ team.
Golden State Warriors – Sacramento Kings Tip
For the Game 6 between the Warriors and Kings on 04/29/2023, the tip and odds on more than 16.5 points offered by Malik Monk. The shooting guard of the guests takes a more prominent role in the playoffs than in the regular season.
Thus, his usage time in the postseason increased to about 28 minutes – a little more six minutes than before the start of the playoffs. Now it could be comparatively high again for the bench player, as top guard Fox doesn’t look fully fit.
In addition, Monk operates reliably in the series in the offense. With the exception of the third and fourth game, he exceeded the selected limit in points and on average Monk delivered 18.2 points per game in the postseason – almost five points more than in the regular season!
