Randle looks forward to favourite opponent!
The Golden State Warriors will be looking forward to the visit of the New York Knicks with mixed feelings. Recently, the basketball players from the East Coast have always been an unpleasant opponent at the Chase Center!
According to a current series of already three away victories in this pairing. Julius Randle, in particular, usually performed very strongly in these games. He always delivered a double-double in terms of points and rebounds!
How the chances are that this series will continue can be read in the following text.
Golden State Warriors – Statistics & current form
The champions are currently not in their usual league. Head coach Steve Kerr’s team is only in fourth last place in the Western Conference table.
But this is mainly due to the Warriors’ glaring weakness away from home, where they still haven’t won after eight attempts!
Golden State plays much better in front of their own fans: As can be seen from their record of six wins and only one defeat – only Phoenix tops this yield of around 86 per cent of victories in the West.
New York Knicks – Statistics & current form
The basketball players from the “Big Apple” lack consistency this season. Too often, victories are immediately followed by defeats and only twice has head coach Tom Thibodeau’s squad managed a succession of more than one success in a row.
At least Julius Randle is getting more going this month, though. After the MIP of the season before last delivered an average of 18.3 points in October, his monthly record in November is clearly better with 23.3 points per game.
Golden State Warriors – New York Knicks Tip
In the game between the Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks, the tip aims for more than 29.5 points and rebounds by Julius Randle on the side of the visitors.
The power forward delivered a strong performance in the recent win against Denver with a double-double in points as well as boards and set a new season-high with 34 points. His rising form in November was thus once again observable.
In addition, the Warriors suit him: In the past three guest games with the champions, he always recorded double-digit values in terms of points and rebounds. As part of these double-doubles, he also always exceeded the selected limit of 29.5 points and rebounds.
In addition, centre Mitchell Robinson is currently out for the Knicks, so Randle will have to do even more work than usual under the boards.
