No chance for Grizzlies without Morant?
The Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies are set for Game 4 in the West semifinals. The home side won the last duel by a clear 30-point margin.
Golden State Warriors – Statistics & current form
Golden State can continue to rely on home court advantage. Of their four home games so far in the 2022 postseason, all have been victorious. Head coach Steve Kerr can also be pleased with his team’s offensive performance so far in the playoffs.
The six-time NBA title holders have scored an average of just under 119 points in the games they have played so far – the best figure ahead of the Grizzlies!
The men from San Francisco also have two accurate shooters from downtown in Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry.
Thompson is the best player in that area in the 2022 postseason and “Chef” ranks a respectable fourth as well.
Memphis Grizzlies – Statistics & current form
The Grizzlies were heavily pissed off after the last game. The reason was a foul by Jordan Poole on Ja Morant, which has now probably resulted in the loss of the clear best player in their ranks.
The guard delivered an average of 27 points in the postseason and is also very successful as a ball distributor with 9.2 assists per game.
He also stepped it up against the Warriors, as the 22-year-old consistently recorded at least 34 points in the three meetings.
Head coach Taylor Jenkins, however, can at least rely on Dillon Brooks at the three in the upcoming game. The Canadian has served his suspension from the second game of the series and is now back on board for the Mississippi franchise.
Golden State Warriors – Memphis Grizzlies Tip
In the Game 4 clash between the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies, betting on a home win by at least a ten-point differential represents the first choice of the betting pool.
The home side is very strong at home and already beat the basketball players from the “Bluff City” in the last game in front of their home crowd by 30 points. Now Ja Morant will most likely be missing for the visitors as well.
The guard is the undisputed lynchpin of Memphis’ forward play, which is why his absence cannot be compensated for by the Jenkins squad.
