Sweep for the Nuggets?

The Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors face off in Game 4 of the 2022 NBA Playoffs! The home side have little hope of getting through the series as they trail 3-0. Never before has a team with such a deficit made it to the next round!

Denver Nuggets – Statistics & current form

The basketball team from the Mile High City showed improved play and fighting spirit in the last game. After two clear defeats in San Francisco, the defeat was only a narrow one this time with 113:118.

However, the series was not under a good star for Head Coach Michael Malone’s team right from the start.

With the long-term absences of Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. the Colorado franchise has suffered a clear loss of quality this season. This can now no longer be concealed in the playoffs.

Even if reigning MVP Nikola Jokic regularly puts in strong performances, even the “big man” from Serbia simply can’t fix it on his own.

Golden State Warriors – statistics & current form

The Warriors currently have a scoring trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole at their disposal. While the former two players are little surprise as legendary “Splash Brothers” in this list, the latter player has been the big surprise in the playoffs so far.

This is the first time that the shooting guard is playing in a postseason and the 22-year-old has so far coped very well with the higher mental load of this phase of the season. Poole averaged no less than 28.7 points in the series against Denver for head coach Steve Kerr’s squad.

No player of the Warriors, not even the “Chef” and Thompson, top this phenomenal output. In addition, Draymond Green operates reliably on the defensive side and also showed his abilities as a playmaker, especially in the last game with ten assists.

Denver Nuggets – Golden State Warriors Tip

The basketball players from San Francisco will probably win the series. As mentioned at the beginning, no team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in the playoffs.

For the clash of the Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors in Game 4, the bet on more than 22.5 points by Jordan Poole on the side of the visitors is a good bet.

The hoopsters from the foot of the Rocky Mountains have not been able to get a grip on the play-off debutant so far. Instead, the shooting guard has scored at least 27 points in the three duels so far.

With Stephen Curry just coming off injury and therefore only coming off the bench so far, Poole should continue to feature in Golden State’s starting five for the time being.
