First from the West at the second in the East!
There are five NBA games on the schedule for the night from Monday to Tuesday on 8 February. The focus is on the clash between Chicago and Phoenix. After all, the second in the East and the first in the West meet at the United Center. For all NBA games in the coming night, tips and betting odds are presented below!
Charlotte Hornets vs. Toronto Raptors – February 08, 01:00am
The duel already went over about a fortnight ago and the Canadians prevailed with 125:113. Despite the defeat LaMelo Ball delivered a strong game with 25 points and seven assists. The reigning “ROTY” from California has been convincing so far in his second season in the NBA, which is why the performance against the Raps was no exception.
From a collective point of view, however, things have not been going well for Charlotte lately, as the past four league games have all ended in defeat. The visitors, for their part, arrive in strong form, having won five in a row recently.
They have defeated top teams such as Miami, the runner-up in the East (twice), and Chicago, the runner-up in the Eastern Conference. Even the Hawks, who have recently regained their form, had to admit defeat to the Nurse squad twice.
For the game at the Spectrum Center between the Charlotte Hornets and Toronto Raptors on 08.02.2022 from 01:00, predictions on an away win are worth considering.
Washington Wizards vs Miami Heat – 08 Feb, 01:00am
The Wizards lost the last direct duel with Miami last December and currently another defeat threatens the hosts from Washington. Without Bradley Beal, the Capitals are missing their best scorer and the record of four losses in the past five games shows that the Wizards are not in a good mood at the moment.
The travelling team from Florida, for its part, is in first place in the East and has scored two wins recently thanks to a restocked squad. In the clash between the Washington Wizards and Miami Heat, the odds once again reveal value on an away win.
Chicago Bulls vs. Phoenix Suns – 08 February, 02:00
The Bulls get a high visitor with Phoenix. The men around Devin Booker and Chris Paul are, as mentioned at the beginning, in first place in the Western Conference. This also applies to the home side, who are second in the East, but it is well known that the quality of the Conference in the West is higher.
This can also be seen in the fact that the Williams team has a win rate of almost 81 per cent, while the home side’s 62.3 per cent is significantly lower. In addition, the Bulls are the second strongest home team in the East and the best away team in the West, the Suns.
In addition, the match-up already represents a small All-Star Game: Both the home side with Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan and the visitors with Chris Paul and Devin Booker each have two nominated players for this year’s edition!
In the clash between the Chicago Bulls and Phoenix Suns on 08.02.2022, however, predictions of an away win with at least a seven-point difference are a good idea. The visitors have looked stronger than the hosts in recent weeks and Phoenix will certainly want to make a statement in the clash between the two league leaders.
On top of that, Zach LaVine is questionable to play for the hosts. The shooting guard was already absent in the last game against Philadelphia, which was also lost without him, as a result of which the Bulls had to hand the top spot in the Eastern Conference to Miami.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Golden State Warriors – 08 February, 02:00 hrs
Oklahoma has been waiting for the next win in this duel for more than two years and five duels. The hosts also can’t rely on a home bonus: Only nine of the 25 games played on home soil have been victorious.
On top of that, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the OKC Thunder’s best scorer, is currently out due to injury. The guests, on the other hand, are in a stable condition: They are in second place in the West and have only won eight rounds.
For the clash at the Paycom Center between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Golden State Warriors, betting tips on a win for the visitors with at least a 13-point difference are worth considering.
Utah Jazz vs. New York Knicks – 08 February, 03:00
The basketball players from the Mormon State are not well staffed. Joe Ingles, an experienced shooting guard, has been out of action recently. The 34-year-old will also not play again this season due to the severity of his injury. Furthermore, the use of the “Sixth Man of the Year” from 2021 in the person of Jordan Clarkson is questionable.
With Donovan Mitchell, however, at least one powerful scorer returned to the squad in the last game against the Nets. Without “Spida”, the results in Salt Lake City were very weak with two wins and six losses and showed how important Mitchell is for Utah.
On the other hand, Rudy Gobert, the best rebounder in the NBA, is still out. In the game at the Vivint Smart Home Arena between the Utah Jazz and the New York Knicks, bets on more than 8.5 rebounds by Julius Randle on the side of the visitors are therefore interesting.
Without the “Stifle Tower” on the other side, the reigning MIP among the boards will face much less resistance in glass-cleaning.
