The Nets are threatened with a sweep!
The Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics square off for Game 4 in the 2022 NBA Playoffs! The home side already have their backs against the wall. They are down 3-0 in the series and no team in postseason history has ever turned around such a deficit.

New York had been hoping of late that Kevin Durant would finally arrive in the series. But this did not happen. In the end, KD had a meagre 16 points and once again the Boston defence had him well in hand.

Although Bruce Brown delivered a new personal best for the playoffs with 26 points in the last game, collectively the home side are no match for Boston’s defence.
Boston Celtics – Statistics & current form
Head coach Ime Udoka was able to call on Robert Williams III for the first time in the last game. The powerful defensive player returned to the court after an injury and the already strong defence of the visitors is now even more efficient.
The Massachusetts franchise can also continue to count on Jayson Tatum. The Beantown hoopster delivered the best output on the court with 39 points and his half-dozen assists underlined his currently stronger role as a playmaker as well.
Brooklyn Nets – Boston Celtics Tip
Eventually, the Nets will call on defensive stalwart Ben Simmons for the first time in the upcoming matchup. The former Sixers player has yet to play a game for the hosts after being traded a few months ago, so he will surely be a bit rusty.
Whether the use of the first pick from 2016 will therefore represent an immediate added value for the home side remains to be seen.
