The Celtics and Nets meet for Game 2 in the first round of the postseason. The home side won the first match-up in spectacular fashion.

Thanks to a buzzer-beater by Jayson Tatum, the opponent was beaten 115-114 in an exchange of blows that was passionately fought by both sides.

The franchise from the Atlantic Division could once again rely on Jayson Tatum in the last game against the Nets. Not only the decisive bucket to win tempts to this judgement, but his overall strong performance with 31 points.

Head coach Steve Nash’s team had the victory against Boston in their hands, but the mentioned this time somewhat pale Kevin Durant missed a three-pointer shortly before the end of the game and finally the hosts were able to turn the deficit into a victory with the last attack.

At least Kyrie Irving put on a great show. Against his old colleagues he scored 39 points, the best output of all players on the court at TD Garden, and from downtown he sank no less than six of his ten attempts.

It’s obvious that “Uncle Drew” was extra motivated by the atmosphere against him at the TD Garden.

The franchise from the Big Apple and Boston delivered a stunning game in the series opener with a buzzer-beater deciding the game in favour of the hosts.

The praise for this series in the 2022 NBA Playoffs was thus absolutely justified given the high intensity on the court.

For the showdown between the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets in Game 2, the tip includes more than 28.5 points by Kyrie Irving on the part of the visitors.

The 30-year-old delivered the best output of any player on court in the first match-up with 39 points and it was the third straight game with at least 30 points.

After the fine for his behaviour in the first encounter, which Irving received among other things for a repeated middle finger gesture in the direction of the crowd in Boston, the crowd at the TD Garden will again have it especially on their former player.
