On the eve of the Champions League match against Slavia Prague, the Nerazzurri winger openly criticizes the former coach with whom he shared four seasons.

A very strong broadside. This is how Federico Dimarco presented tomorrow’s Champions League match against Slavia Prague. The winger took a dig at Simone Inzaghi, the coach with whom he spent four years: “I’ve always trained 100%. Playing 90 minutes more often helps you improve your fitness rather than always coming off after an hour…” He reiterated this point in the press room, not just on Sky Sport: “I’m working to regain my confidence. We’re aiming for our fourth win in a row. Our goal is to always look to the present or the future, never to the past. We started with a win and we want to continue like this.” He made a curious superstitious gesture when reminded that San Siro is a fortress: in their last 16 Champions League home games, Inter have recorded 13 wins and three draws. Their last defeat was in 2022, against Bayern: “We approach every game in the same way,” concluded the winger, “the Champions League requires us to think about big results and big games. From this year, we are looking for more verticality, but we haven’t lost the foundation of previous seasons. We mustn’t underestimate Slavia.”
