An agreement has already been reached between the clubs and the player on the basis of a five-year deal worth $4 million per season: negotiations are now in full swing.
Forty. No more. That is the official figure offered today by Inter to Atalanta for the purchase of Ademola Lookman: as expected, the Nerazzurri’s offer is $40 million, lower than the $50 million requested by La Dea. The parties are therefore still far apart, but negotiations have officially begun with this first direct contact, which had been lacking until this afternoon: the two clubs have been in contact both through their respective sporting directors, Inter’s Piero Ausilio and Atalanta’s Tony D’Amico, and through their two presidents, Beppe Marotta and Antonio Percassi.

Regular training—  The 27-year-old Nigerian striker, who officially trained in Zingonia today, avoiding a confrontation with his current club, is determined to make the move from Bergamo to Milan: he already has a preliminary agreement for a five-year deal worth €4 million (with the Growth Decree) with Inter and, above all, he has said yes to Cristian Chivu’s project. The Romanian coach wants him to start in a dream trident with Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram. For this to happen, however, the parties will need to come closer together, as they currently remain entrenched in their positions: Inter has no intention of raising or deviating from its offer of 40 million, while Atalanta does not want to budge from 50 million and is simultaneously negotiating with Atletico Madrid, another European giant that has set its sights on Lookman.
