The dominance that Carlito also displayed in his round of 16 match against the hitherto unblemished Italian Lorenzo Musetti is in any case reason enough to play the odds on a commanding success for the Spaniard in Tuesday’s quarter-final between Alcaraz and Tsitsipas as well. Alcaraz hit a total of 42 winners against his opponent, who is one year older than him, committed only 23 simple errors and was able to score every second point when Musetti placed his first serve in the field. Unbelievable!

With such impressive return strength and enviable mental maturity, it’s so hard to win even one set against the Madrid and Barcelona Masters winners. Since we can hardly imagine a scenario where Alcaraz has to leave his comfort zone and suddenly collapses, we believe that in the duel of the world number one against the number five, Alcaraz against Tsitsipas, the prediction of an outright 3-0 set win for the favourite could be the right choice.

In the past, Stefanos Tsitsipas often struggled a bit to show his best tennis at Grand Slam tournaments. Although the results so far read pretty good on paper, it should not be forgotten that no opponent has come close to the qualities of Carlos Alcaraz.
