Does the winning streak of the ‘Cavs’ last?

There are six games in the NBA next night. In the East, Atlanta and Orlando and Boston and Cleveland, among others, face each other on 23/12/2021. The second best scorer of the NBA has to miss due to a quarantine measure. For the duel between the Atlanta Hawks and Orlando Magic, the tip is therefore aimed at less than 111.5 points by the hosts, although admittedly they are playing against the third-last in the NBA’s defensive rating and the guests also have quite a few absences.

However, the prediction is also helped by the fact that De’Andre Hunter, who has a season-long average of just under 11 points for the Hawks, remains out of action with a wrist injury.

Boston Celtics vs. Cleveland Cavaliers – Dec 23, 01:30am

Boston and the Cavs have already faced each other twice this season. In the first duel in mid-November, Cleveland achieved a narrow 91-89 home victory. Two days later, however, the Celtics were able to return the favour with a 98-92 victory, also in Ohio.

In the upcoming game, Boston can also count on home court advantage: Since six games at home in the TD Garden, they have only ever won against Cleveland! On the other hand, the home strength has been weakening lately.

The home side recently suffered a defeat against the Sixers and the win rate in home games is now only around 57 percent. Due to the tense personnel situation at Boston, a changed starting five can currently be observed. In the last game, Enes Freedom played for the first time this season.

The visitors, on the other hand, are the team of the hour in the Eastern Conference: they have won only six rounds! Chicago Bulls vs. Toronto Raptors – Dec 23, 02:00

The Raptors made the most of the moment last time out, taking a clear 119-100 win over the second-place Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference. However, the opponent only entered with a better B-team without the “chef”, which is why the victory must be put into perspective.

On the other hand, it was already the fifth triumph in retrospect of the past seven league games – but all successes were achieved at home. Moreover, things have not gone well against Chicago in the recent past: the visitors have been waiting for their next victory in this match for four years now.

The home side will also be without Zach LaVine, but their 133 points in the last game against Houston showed that they are still capable of scoring. DeMar DeRozan is particularly convincing: the small forward is averaging 26.8 points per game – the fifth-best record of all players in the NBA!

For the game between the Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors, betting on a home victory with at least a ten-point difference is a good idea.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Houston Rockets – Dec 23, 02:00

The Bucks and Rockets already faced each other about a fortnight ago in Texas. Back then, the champions scored a 123-114 victory at the Toyota Center. Now, however, things are likely to get tougher for the hosts against the last-place team in the Western Conference.

The reason for this assessment is the decimated squad. Besides two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, other important players such as Middleton, Lopez or DiVincenzo are missing.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Denver Nuggets – Dec 23, 02:00

However, numerous players are currently in quarantine, which is why the performance of coach Alvin Gentry’s squad must be described as weakened. This also applies to the visitors, but at least they have Paul George back on board.

Without the injured Kawhi Leonard, “PG13” is the leader this season and he is living up to that role: In his return after missing five games last game against San Antonio, he contributed the most points on the court. He also provided the most assists within the club.

For the clash between the Sacramento Kings and LA Clippers, betting odds of more than 38.5 points, rebounds and assists by “Playoff P” are therefore worth considering.

Although he did not exceed the limit with a value of 37 in his comeback, he only played 31 minutes in the game against San Antonio and it is to be expected that George will now be awarded more playing time – his seasonal value in this respect is just under 36 minutes.
