Grenada v Qatar tip Forecast & odds 18.07.2021

Grenada v Qatar Tipp & Quoten, 18.07.2021 – 01:30 o’clock

Qatar meets the alleged underdog from Grenada on the second day of the Gold Cup. Even before the kick-off, the roles are more than clearly distributed. The World Cup host from Qatar is bet on a threesome as a clear favorite. But will the team be able to fulfil this role? The pairing between the two teams will take place on Sunday, July 18th at 1: 30 a.m. at the BBVA Compass Stadium in Texas. In the following betting tip forecast, both teams are examined more closely.

(Stand der Quoten: 16.07.2021, 14:53 Uhr)

The soccer dwarf Grenada had to prove his skills against Honduras on the first day of the match. “Los Catrachos” met their favourite role in the first round and came to 1-0 after 28 minutes by Jerry Bengtson. Despite some chances on both sides, it remained a narrow head start until the intermission whistle. Only seven minutes had passed after the change of side, when Edwin Solano was able to increase to 2-0. Although the Hondurans were in the front with two goals, Grenada was courageous. In the end, however, Honduras closed the sack and was able to raise Quioto to 4-0 by Johnny Leveron and Romell.

The first day of the match was very clearly lost. Due to the bankruptcy, Grenada dropped right to the last place in the group D table. The residue to the top rider measures three counters. Since Panama and Qatar shared the points, the gap to the second place in the table is only one thin point. All odds indicate that Grenada is being treated as an outsider.

Grenada has participated in the Gold Cup twice so far. The nation hasn’t cracked much yet. At the last Gold Cup, the team was not represented and thus missed the qualification.

As Asian champion, Qatar would not participate in the Gold Cup at all, as there are basically only teams from North and Central America. As preparation for the World Cup in his own country, it is now time to try his luck in the competition. The first group match was against Panama. The first round should be goalless. Coach Felix Sanchez seemed to have found the right words in the half-time speech. Only three minutes were played when Akram brought Afif Qatar to the front. The joy, however, was short-lived. Another three minutes later Rolando Blackburn scored 1-1. The World Cup host returned two minutes later with the 2-1 by Ali Almoez. Panama equalized again in the form of Rolando Blackburn only five minutes later. In the end, a transformed penalty led to a 3-3 score on both sides. Undoubtedly an exciting encounter that brought about a fair draw.

In the first group match Qatar was in the front three times, but had to settle for a draw in the end. This must be improved in any case. However, the online bookies have still not lost their faith in the World Cup host. Qatar continues to be a contender for the group victory, insofar as the odds are believed. However, Honduras should not be underestimated. The last matchday calls up the key game with the Hondurans. This should then be about the group victory.

As already mentioned at the beginning, Qatar does not actually play at the Gold Cup. In 2019, the team was represented at Copa America. There, however, the team was by no means convincing and was eliminated after the preliminary round. At the Gold Cup, at least the qualification for the knockout round is considered mandatory.

The World Cup host is bet as an absolute favorite on a threesome in this pairing. Anything but a clear victory would be tantamount to a bitter surprise. If the first place is to stand out, three points must result against Grenada. In the course of our betting tip forecast, it can be assumed that this goal can be achieved. It makes sense to bet on a handicap.
