Leverkusen vs. Freiburg Tip Forecast & odds 28.02.2021

Leverkusen v Freiburg Tip & Quoten, 28.02.2021 – 18:00 o’clock

This betting tip forecast deals with the pairing between Bayer Leverkusen and SC Freiburg. Both teams will face each other at the BayArena on Sunday, 28 February at 18:00. The Werkself enjoys the right of home. To what extent this can be used and how the odds for the duel behave, it is necessary to evaluate in more detail below.

The Werkself was assigned the task of passing in Augsburg on the last Bundesliga match day. Substitute keeper Lomb made a catastrophic defensive error in the first few minutes. Niederlechner thanked and networked to lead the home team (5th). The Augsburgs were master in the ring and recorded a significant increase in opportunities. Not much came of Leverkusen except for the one conclusion of Schick in the first round. Since the hosts failed to use their goalscoring opportunities, the score remained close to 1-0 after the first 45 minutes. Peter Bosz seemed to have found the right words in the half-time speech. Leverkusen seemed much more agile and aggressive after the change of sides. Despite some good opportunities, however, it was not possible to place the round in the square. In addition, Bayer was able to thank the VAR. This prevented a penalty of the Fuggerstädter due to the offside position of Vargas – the right decision. Even with Alario taking second place, guests rarely entered the opposing penalty area. In the end, however, thanks to central defender Tapsoba, a happy balance was struck.

Leverkusen recently showed mixed performances in the Bundesliga. Only one victory results from the past five league players. This came about after a 5-2 draw against VFB Stuttgart. Most recently, the points were shared with Mainz and Augsburg. With a record of ten wins, seven draws and five defeats, 37 points were scored in the current season. This yield puts the team of coach Peter Bosz in fifth place. The offensive scored 40 goals and the defense was conceded 24 goals on the other side.

Lucas Alario is the best attacker in his own ranks with nine goals. The upcoming Bundesliga matches will be played against Freiburg and then in Gladbach.

The Breisgauer were last allowed to look forward to SC Freiburg as a guest. The first few minutes passed without any footballing highlights. After a short period of settling in, there was a slight increase in chances among the irons. Freiburg’s Keeper Müller kept his chest clean and could distinguish himself by one or the other parade. The first 45 minutes passed without goal. After the change of sides Streich reacted and brought Heintz for Haberer. From then on, the landlords acted with a chain of three. A change that should turn out to be good. After 52 minutes Höler had the great chance to lead the home team. But he didn’t put the ball in the box. That should get revenge some time later. As if out of nowhere Prömel achieved the leadership of the hosts. Despite some opportunities on both sides, no more goals were scored in the end and consequently the narrow victory of the Irons remained.

Only one of the last four Bundesliga matches was won by SC Freiburg. This one success is matched by two defeats and a draw. The threesome was to be won after a 2-1 against Dortmund. In Wolfsburg, and most recently against Union, there were two bankruptcies. A goalless draw was drawn against Bremen. Coach Christian Streich’s eleven team scored 31 points to ninth place in the table. The offensive housed the ball 35 times in the opponent’s box and the defense was conceded 34 goals on the other side.

Petersen and Grifo are the best attackers in their own ranks with seven goals each. After the strength test with Leverkusen, Freiburg has to score points at home against Leipzig. Neither are easy opponents.

Recent matches from Freiburg

Freiburg: 2 victories – 1 draw – 2 defeats

5 wins Leverkusen – 4 draws – 1 win Freiburg

The odds for this pairing show the Leverkusener as light favourites. However, the Werkself proved to be less stable at the national level and in some cases was not able to convince. Only two of the last six home games were won (2 draws, 2 defeats). Freiburg, on the other hand, only scored a meagre amount from the past three long distance matches. As part of our betting tip forecast, a tight match is to be expected. In this, the Werkself will have the nose at the front at the end and take three points with it.
