The Citizens won the first leg in the Santiago Bernabeu 2-1, creating an excellent starting position for the second leg in the home stadium of Etihad. Both teams started with early pressing and were willing to win the game. With the first good action by City, the home team went 1-0 in front of Sterling (9th). The team of Pep Guardiola had an upper water and wanted to finish – Foden (12th) and Sterling (16th) missed 2-0. On the other hand, Benzema and Hazard approached the opposing housing for the first time (21st, 23rd). Soon afterwards Benzema equalised per head to 1-1 for the royals (28th). Real was back in the game, but had to survive two situations until the break – Joao Concelo and Foden (37th, 42nd) gave the lead again. After changing sides, Manchester picked up the pace again and had the next big chance (47th) due to De Bruyne’s dream pass on Sterling. Guests rarely came to opportunities. City was dominant, but missed the decision – Sterling (54th), Gabriel Jesus (66th). On the other hand, Benzema finished twice too hastily (63rd, 64th). Four minutes later, Gabriel hit Jesus 2-1 for the English (68th). Really, not much came up and the Skyblues even gave a higher victory in the final phase.

Rudi Garcia’s team had to defend the 1-0 home win in the first leg in Turin and did so very promising. Early on, the French took the lead with a 1-0 lead through the transformed foul penalty meter from Depay (12th). Now Juve had to score three goals. The Bianconeri had more of a game, but they were not really compelling in the offensive. The best shot was Bernardeschi, who was stopped on Marcelo’s goal line (20th). Only shortly before the intermission whistle did the Italians become dangerous again. Cristiano Ronaldo approached by free kick (39th) before the superstar turned a handful into a 1-1 (43rd). In the second 45 minutes, OL remained safe in the back and barely let anything burn. Only a long-range shot by CR7 brought the old lady 2-1 in the lead (60th). Four minutes later, Bonucci scored a 3-1 per head (64th). Juventus now missed too many chances and thus also entered the quarter-finals – Higuain (69th) and Ronaldo (76th) missed the third goal. There was nothing left of Olympique, but the home team were also unable to find any significant opportunities in the final phase.
The Garcia eleven played a mixed group stage with two wins, two draws and two bankruptcies. After RB Leipzig (11 points), the French qualified second with eight points for the CL box final. The last two places went to the equal points clubs of Benfica Lisbon and Zenit St. Petersburg (7). Lyon won only one of the last four games in the Royal League and lost the two away games to Zenit (0-2) and Juventus Turin (1-2) during that period.
The league’s seventh division scored only 11 goals in the Champions League so far. Six of them achieved Memphis Depay. Otherwise, no other Lyon player has scored more than once.
Lyon has neither blocked nor injured players to complain about and can tackle the quarter-finals against the English in best form.

Manchester City is a favourite for the Champions League semi-final against Olympique Lyon. The CL tournament in Portugal takes place without returns and this especially increases the chances of the outsiders. OL played a mediocre season in the royal class, but then placed a heavy exclamation mark in the sixteenth final against Juventus Turin. The Skyblues are still unbeaten in the CL and have also eliminated a title contender with Real Madrid in the sixteenth finals. Nevertheless, we are pointing to a sovereign victory for the Guardiola eleven in Lisbon. The Champions League’s second-best attacking streak will score at least two goals and lead the Citizens to the CL semi-final. Linked to this, we favor for this Champions League tip forecast the 3-way bets on Man City wins, where odds range from 1.25 to 1.30.
